Anyone got any favourites? I don't think there's anyone who really stands out at this point, but I do think John & Edward are awful. Entertaining to watch, but painful on the ears!! Olly was good lastnight though.

I like Jamie and Olly. Especially Olly after last nights performance! John and Edward are awful, I hope they go tonight.

Apart from Lucie, they didn't do very rock-y songs. They kind of played it safe - especially the Katie Perry number!

So glad this thread was started, I could rabbit on all day about the Xfactor lol! I think Olly is fab but I also like the twins although I don't say it very often as is causes a bit of controversy and I get shouted at ha ha! I wasn't really impressed with any of the songs they were given this week... I think the judges need lessons in real rock. I think Lucie totally killed my fave Guns n roses tune but thats just my oppinion as I am a fan and have listened to the original far too many times :p

I actually watched this for the first time tonight and JEdward are truly crud, although I think I agree with Simon Cowells comments, very diplomatic, for a change. lol Jamie is probably the best male singer, although Olly is very close, but Lucie is by far the best female singer. imo. What annoyed me though was, as I was driving home, they were playing it on the bloomin' radio................... _________________ I have a Masters Degree in the University of Life Share The Dualers (you know it makes sense)

How come Lucie has suddenly started speaking like Stacey? Where did that scattyness come from? I guess she maybe she thinks Stacey is popular and is trying to tap into that...

I don't know what Lucie sounded like before, but that's one of the things I liked about her.............. natural speaking. _________________ I have a Masters Degree in the University of Life Share The Dualers (you know it makes sense)

Yes! I also thought Lucie was trying to sound like Stacy. There is something about Lucie that I'm not really keen on and I don't know what it is because her performances are mainly good. Looking forward to the results tonight!

I think she would do well as a UK version of Myley Cyrus, or something - pop-rock for pre-teens.

I really hope Olly goes through tonight, but I think Lloyd will go. Possibly Lloyd and Lucie in the bottom two. John and Edward will survive another week as they were very entertaining!

Oooo I was nearly right. I was very surprised that Lloyd wasn't in the bottom two. Lucie was a good singer, and is definitely better than John & Edward, but I didn't like her. I think there's something about her that people just can't put their finger on. Trying to be all dumb and scatty like Stacey lastnight possibly put a lot of people off. She was definitely not being herself, and showed that she would pretend to be anyone else just to get through. I'm glad Simon let the public decide. It's not J&E's fault that they got more votes than her. They are not good singers, but they are young boys who have been given the opportunity to stand on stage and perform live every week, and if people vote to keep them there, then so be it - they shouldn't be slagged off because of it. If Simon had kept Lucie in then there's every chance she'd have gone next week anyway. But, as the remaining singers are getting stronger, J&E will probably leave next week too.

I deffinately think Olly will be in the final, possibly along with John and Edward lol! I actually thought their sing off performance was the best one yet, I don't understand why they always have to have so much crazy stuff going on in the background normally because I think it confuses them too much :p Rock DJ was a good song for them to sing. I'm not even that keen on Jamie and I don't think Danyl will survive being a pop star because he is too weak; I did like Stacy but she doesn't seem like a strong enough singer although she does have a lovely personality and I always forget about Joe for some reason, maybe he hasn't made much of an impact on me yet. Argh! I seem very hard to please at the moment.

| All i can say is what a fix it is, Lucie obviously had the best voice, but they choose two wally's instead. Thing that annoys me is, that if JEdward are going to be 'stars' of any kind, they've already made it, so why not treat X Factor as it's sposed to be and use it to get the REAL singers noticed. Good Luck to Lucie and hope that her talent is noticed soon. EDIT: Amended due to confusion over the 'c's, plus I only watched it once (that was enough), :p lol nice to know you do actually read my posts _________________ I have a Masters Degree in the University of Life Share The Dualers (you know it makes sense)

Have never watched it, and won't waste time nor electricity in doing so, but it is clear from postings here and agency news reports which pollute the main news websites that this show has nothing to do with 'talent' and everything to do with industry politics - but then we/you all knew that anyway, I suppose, and us disinterested folk only become aware of what goes on when events intrude into 'normal' news media.
